The Kosak Piano Studio has provided quality music instruction to Long Islanders since 2001. Its founder, Johanna Kosak, has over 20 years experience teaching piano to students of all ages and level of ability.

Carnegie Hall Performance Winner!

Congratulations to Dorothy Pierre!
Dorothy won Concert Festival Carnegie Hall Performance competition.
Dorothy will be performing her winning piece at Carnegie Hall on November 20, 2016 to celebrate 125 year anniversary of Carnegie Hall.
Best wishes to her first debut in Carnegie Hall.

Teacher's News:

Three world premiere pieces have been written for Johanna Kosak's Amicizia trio: Variations and Soliloquies by Robert Fleisher, What A Ride! by Tim Shirmer, and Trio (2012) by Durwynne Hsieh. These pieces were premiered at Columbia College, Parkland College, and the University of Illinois last spring and scheduled for a first radio broadcast on CJSR Canada’s Avant-Garde & Beyond programs.
